約20年間イカだけを描き続けてきた「イカ画家」である。描かれるのは、アオリイカの共食いである。イ力画家は、いつか自身もイカに共食いされ、死因イカとしてイカと一体化することを目指す。それは生命が循環し、他の命につながること、イカの命と私たちが無意識下でつながり、互いを大切にする世界が実現されるまで続く。

This “ika (squid and cuttlefish) painter” has been painting ika only for the past twenty or so years. Portrayed here is an aoriika (bigfin reef squid) cannibalizing. The ika artist hopes to be cannibalized by an ika one day, and to integrate with the ika by having ika established as the cause of her death. This will continue until life circulates and connects to other lives, the ika’s life and ours connect unconsciously, and a world in which we care for each other is realized.
